Infinite loading screen after a Windows update

So last night I noticed there was an update available. Seeing as I like a majority of my things to be up-to-date, I opted to shut down my PC after it downloaded the updates and fell asleep. Well, fast forward to this afternoon and I am now stuck at a black screen with an infinite loading icon (the spinning icon that usually appears below the Windows 10 logo)

What are my options to resolving this?
