Hi everyone,

I recently bought an AT2020 cardiod Condenser microphone(XLR version not USB) for recording purposes.
Which doesn't come with stands, phantom power or XLR cables.
So I've decided which pop filter, desk stand and phantom power to buy(wright WR 229 1-Channel 48V).
On a tight budget as I live in India where getting audio systems is like spending a fortune so going to buy the above equipments.

If anyone has experience with that phantom power please give feedback.

Also as far as I know, XLR female to XLR male cable is required to connect Mic to the phantom power.
and another XLR female to jack for pc.

My question is :
Can I plug that jack directly into the PC or do I need a USB sound card?

Also please suggest a good XLR to jack cable for pc.

I want to test this asap and there is no guide for this setup.

Thank you in advance.
:D
