Any views on 'Black Diamond' replacement cartridges? Company I use is
intending to stock them and I am looking for any users comments before I
decide whether to use myself or not.

I do not recommend any AfterMarket ink unless you know who the
mfg/formulator is.

He asked for information. You have none, so why reply?

Stick - Measekite has never used any aftermarket ink or purchased from any
aftermarket vendor. He speaks strictly from his untested and relentless
bias against all aftermarket inks and vendors. You are doing the right
thing by looking for personal recommendation from someone who has used this
product.

Thank You Burt.
I have followed Measekites ravings in this newsgroup and do totally ignore
his comments.
They and he? serve no usefull purpose within this newsgroup.
As someone with over 30 years experience in the computing industry, having
my own IT business and being a qualified IT tutor, I appreciate constructive
views and information not uninformed rantings.
Once again Burt my thanks. Still looking for any informed views re Black
Diamond cartridges.

Once talked to a person selling aftermarket ink cartridges in a flea
market. Learned a bit from the person about the aftermarket products he
was selling. One of the biggest myth in inkjet ink is people think only
HP, Epson and Canon know the secret of making ink.

I was told that the fact is they don't make dyes nor pigments. They all
buy such from companies like DuPont for example. Besides dyes and
pigments all remaining stuff in ink are no big deal to make.

Well, don't know if this is true or what but sounds interesting to me.

Ok...we all want to know what exactly "a bigger schmuck with ears" is or
means.
Are "ears" some kind of a fetish a pervert like you is into? Do you have
a predilection for "a schmuck with ears", or preferably “a schmuck with
bigger ears”, (we all figured from the get-go that you where so kind of
a weirdo pervert)? Or do you have big ears and are looking for a mate
with the same (haha...of sorts)?
Or is this a racial slur? Are you racists? Do you even know what schmuck
means or did somebody call you a schmuck and you thought it was "cool"?
Do you know what "schlemiel" means?
I'll give you a hint...it a perfectly describes you.

Agreed, where the markup for receipt printers is terrible esp when you
are dealing with businesses specalizing in POS system. I.e. you don't
get what you pay for. You get a $300 item marked up 250%.

Also the fact there many options in receipt printers one may not want
or need. I could plop down $1000 on a network multicolor 100mm thermal
ribbon unit with a high enough dpi to do bar codes but that's not
going to be very helpful for someone runs a small hole in the wall Fish
'n Chips place. $4000.00 on a line matrix 500lps that would toss out
100 Emily Dickenson poems and thank you for your Taco faster than you
can say, "Duck the receipt is printing".

The get what you pay for reasoning is none too helpful when a person
doesn't know what to get.

That's an uninformed opinion, not information about the cartridge
manufacturer. Nobody cares!

And I must apologize for getting this thread confused with another one.
I'm sure you can appricate the fact that looking inside in the middle
of many of these threads they are all starting to look alike. A legit
question like yours, or on specialized printers ends up being the same
old domestic dispute about the same thing. In this case you were
looking for info in 3rd ink, which looked like another thread about
someone asking for help on a specialized printer, which looked very
much like another thread of a specialized printer, and it's totally
nuts.

Is he referring to the German jewellery manufacturer -

I presume you're refering to the KidKraft product.

I've seen them. They are on sale for $33 + shipping. Comes with a
cute cut out of what I presume is a Scottish Terrier, or perhaps a
random high engery mutt. They are about 4ft tall with the coat pegs at
about 3ft or so.

Irwin - we all know what kind of flusher Measekite is. More like the
flushee than the flusher.

Firstly I would like to apologise to all of you for posting using my work
email earlier.

I am disappointed although not surprised with the reaction to my original
question for views on a particular 3rd party ink cartridge manufacturer.
It is a shame that a newsgroup such as this can be almost 'taken' over by a
person with obvious low intellect and little experience of life in the
'real' world.
Yes, I am referring to 'Measekite'. Newsgroup posters almost always were
helpful, pleasant and informative folk to converse with and it is a shame
that this one person has decided to cause hurt, yes, it does hurt posters
when they ask serious questions, but get infanticile and deliberately
insulting responses from one poster.
It is a shame that in this one respect this newsgroup is not moderated as
I'm sure this 'Measekite' would have been banned from posting in it,
especially due to the libellous and slanderous nature of his/her postings.
However, as we all know, nothing in this life is ever perfect and we have to
put up with these rantings. Perhaps we could see past these diversionary
posts and get back to the main question? If anyone has had any experience of
using the cartridges in question I would be delighted to hear their views. A
quite substantial sum of money is involved here not just to me but to the
companies involved so any genuine help would be appreciated.
Regards
Stick

You will conrinue to be called a Spammer by the "Person" in question.
Personally I see no problem with your original question (that will get me
dumped on by our "friend"!).
Newsgroups like this are often and should be used for genuine seeking after
knowledge. I have no knowledge of Black Diamond cartridges, they are not
available where I live, but I wish you success.
