Hello,

First post and first time member here.
So the genius that I'm took a 3TB MyBook Essential out and connected to the SATA port on my PC and initialized it, ruining the boot partition in the process. After reading through many threads on the forums, I have a glimpse of hope of recovering the precious data on my HDD.
User Fzabkar seems to be the leading expert on this matter.
I've put the drive back in the enclosure and started with DMDE and don't know where to go next.

From what I've read the partition data is in sector 0 but don't know how to decode the HEX data from it. Can anyone please help me?

Thank you very much in advanced,
