I just install some ram and my pc turned it on and this black screen pops up please help me this is very ultra super urgent ASAP

Oh boy you added new RAM and I'm guessing that the old RAM is also installed in the system? This could be fun.

It is possible those new RAM sticks aren't going to play nice. You can try to reset the CMOS when you install the new sticks though.


It should go away on it's own after a couple of seconds. If it doesn't then there is no bootable HDD that the mobo sees.
 


It doesn't go away but when I take out the new ram it never shows up and goes straight into Windows

How do I do that thanks for all your help btw
 


There is a setting in your BIOS that will say something like "load defaults" just select that. Otherwise you can unplug the computer and remove the watch battery from the mobo for 30 seconds and then replace it.
