Ink became lighter in colour

i reffiled my canon mp 258 inkjet.but after that refill the ink colour is getting greyish before it was dark black with the origional cartridge.is it due to refill or i need to change some another ink label??moreover i also observed the miss prints after the refill.

Refill or 3rd party ink cartridges will have a noticeable decrease in quality most of the time. No issues with what you are seeing, if you want to maintain the same quality, you'd want to stick with OEM inks/cartridges. You can try to do a cleaning run from the printer utility see if that helps you.

No such thing as extra dark ink, how will you know if it is? They all just say "Black". Use the regular cartridges for the printer, or try another brand of refill. It's the quality of the ink that's the issue, and formulation of it.
