This card made me remember that there used to be a time when dual-slot GPUs were just a hair-brained idea in a madman's head. "Totally unnecessary, GPUs will never need that much cooling. Go home, engineer, you're drunk."

Looking like Nvidia has a thermal nuclear GPU on their hands vs the 980 series and looking like Vega will probably be cooler and possibly use more then 8 pcie 3.0 lanes I bet this sucker doesn't use more then 9 lanes tops considering the 1080 only uses 8 in reality
