Input - 100V 50-60Hz 30VA / Output DC12V 1.2A (Japanese AC Adapter)

I have just received a Japanese electrical appliance which is rated at 100V and come supplied with the above AC Adapter.
I live in Australia which uses 240V and I know I cannot plug it in directly.
Can anyone please tell me if I can use which of the followings:

1. AC DC Adapter Input 240V 50Hz / Output DC12V ----1.2A

2. Input 100V-240V 1.0A max 50-60Hz / Ouput +12V ---1.25A

3. Switching Adapter
Input 200-240V 50/60Hz 0.3A
Output +12V --- 1A

4. Switching AC/DC Power Adapter
Input AC 100-240v 50/60 Hz 0.2A
Output DC 12V 0.5A

It looks to me as though #1 or #2 would work, IF the tip polarity is the same.
Numbers 3 and especially 4 do not appear to provide enough current, so they'd probably overload and pop, melt, burn, and/or start a fire.

I have checked the tip polarity and both are similar especially #1. I will go for #1.

The output of the adapter is DC, which means it has (+) and a (-) terminals. If it is one of those circular tips, the outer ring is one terminal, and the inner pin is the second. There should be a marking on the original adapter which shows which terminal is (-) and which is (+). Make sure the replacement is the same.
