The computer says when I turn the moniter on that there is no input signal, then under that it says, input 2:hd15,then it says, go to power save.I would really know how to change this problem. Because the pc won't even let me shut it down until the input is fixed. I press the power button and nothing happens it's weird. Please help

I first tried to switch out the hard drive thinking that may the problem, so I went out bought a new hard drive and nothing worked...Now im thinking somehow (even though I am the only computer user and I know i didnt do this because I dont even know how) the computer switched to hd15 which is a probably a dvi component and i have the lcd monitor plugged into a vga component? Lmk thanks.

I'm honestly not really sure what you're trying to say, but as I understand it, you're saying everything freezes when you try connecting your monitor to your computer via HD15?

Does your monitor and computer support another kind of monitor connection, like DVI or HDMI? If so, maybe you can try those alternatives.

Let me know if everything turns out ok!

No, the monitor doesnt freeze, and I did hook up another tower to the monitor and it worked fine, so I eliminate the fact that its the monitor causing the problem.

The graphics card is integrated into the motherboard I believe this is a HP desktop afterall, so Im thinking graphics card problem? or maybe cpu?

Please lmk on your thoughts.
