Premium sound card: I know the classified has one but i would prefer better sound since i have a good sound system at home to hook up to my rig.

CD/DVD Drive: Had good results with my LG on my old machine so would prefer something LG or similar if theres better. Samsung?

Keyboard and Mouse: Still have a G15 which is probably fine but my old Logitech mouse needs to be replaced. Any suggestions out there for whats good? All i do is game..game and more game with a lot of video editing.

Also need suggestions on a new monitor, something thats good for 2560 X 1600 Res?

You spent a ridiculous amount of money on that board, the deluxe P6T would have been 95% the board that one is.

You also got a kilowatt power supply for a 295? Unless you're planning on SLi later, that's excessive.

Next time say what the items are so we don't have to open all the links.

You never said what your 'good sound system' was. Can't pick a card to power mystery hardware.

CD/DVD drive is almost null. They all work pretty much the same.
As for a mouse, head to a local best buy or whatnot and see what you like. I like my MX518.

Thanks for commenting. You definitely answered a question ive been wondering about for like a week. Wasn't sure if the power supply would be long enough, but that extension is perfect! Thanks again! As for the Ram..not sure there is too much difference from the platinum vs. XMP...seems from what i read that the overclock is manual on the XMP and the Platinum will be auto detected for settings at least. Not really a huge issue. Thanks for the help!

I personally don't think the Platnium is worth the extra 15$ for the -1 timings. That's not a huge issue, and I know the OCZ XMP series is very nice for the price. Basically, it will make OCing a little easier.
