Inputs simply don't work

I've been having this problem for some while now and now I consider it a critical problem. No matter what interface, soundcard or USB headset I use, Windows won't give me any input. I've used many different devices. Even the motherboards own inputs don't work. Anyone who's having the same problem?

It can't be related to power either USB drivers. It just started randomly. Also, I'd like to mention that it's just the inputs. It has to be a software glitch because it doesn't matter what input device I am using, they just won't work.

Anyways my specs:
AMD FX 8350
Crosshair V Formula-z
AMD R7 260X
16GB 1866MHz RAM

M-Audio Fast Track ( I know it's not officially supported but it works perfectly well on other PCs with Windows 10)

I think you are confusing inputs with outputs.
Headphones would be an output device.
It doesn't sound like you are inputting sound.

From your description it doesn't sound like a "random" problem.

Kiril had a good and valid suggestion. Try that first.

Well, I am definitely not mixing these two terms. I can hear audio through the speakers but whatever microphone and/or another input device I try to use is just silent.

As I said, it won't matter if I use my audio interface or my motherboard's integrated audio inputs or a simple headset. Windows won't give me anything.

For example, Audacity says "Error opening sound device"
