Insert Boot Device

Good Day,

After the purchase of a new MotherBoard (MSI ZH87 G43 Gaming), I formatted my HDD. After the initial installation of Windows 8.1, I restarted the computer and got the message : Please insert Boot Device.....

I went into my BIOS and selected the correct drive and computer restarted and loaded correct. After Driver installation computer restarted and same error message appeared. Now I cant fix this. Any ideas...? HDD is currently partitioned into 2 partitions.

go into your bios and change the drive mode from ide to ahci.

let bios search for operating system automatically.
Normally it will jump from drive to drive until it finds the correct one.
