My computer is running really slow lately, and something that helped with my old computer was to restore it to factory settings. However that was with windows 7. When i try with windows 8 it just brings up the message "Insert missing media". I bought the Computer with windows 8 pre-installed so I have no cd-key or disc.

If you could help that would be much appreciated.

Check using Disk Management that you have a Recovery Partition.
Windows key plus X for menu.
If you have a Recovery Partition, use PC settings from Charms menu to go to Recovery and either Refresh or Remove everything and install Windows

The 350Mb partitions store your Boot data and you should only have one. The 10Gb partition is your Recovery Partition and appears to be corrupt, or the Refresh software is looking in the wrong place.
You could try creating a Recovery drive, you'll need a 16Gb USB flash. Type 'Create' at your Start Screen and from settings choose 'Create Recovery 'Drive and ensure you check the 'Copy Recovery Partition' box.
Once created set your boot order to USB drive and see if it works. This time you will have to use the Recovery Environment to access Advanced Options to get Refresh or Reset
