Question Inspiron 3421 ram upgrade

Hello guys.. I want to upgrade my Inspiron 3421 ram and I want to know if this ram are compatible:

PC3-12800S-11-10-F2 4GB 2Rx8 (that’s the one I have laying around that I want to add)

PC3L-12800S-11-11-F3 4GB 2Rx8 (that’s the stock one witch comes in my Inspiron)

It will work? Or do I need to buy another one identical?

You won't find any memory manufacturer to guarantee that combination to be compatible together.

Use of exact match, identical, same thing also have no guarantee to be compatible together.

What is guaranteed is the use of a single kit of memory, for example:

You can try it since you already have it, but run Memtest86 If it boots to check for errors. The PC3L-12800S is low voltage (1.35 volts) where the PC3-12800S is 1. 5 volts. It is best to use the same voltage but my Toshiba laptop came with a 2GB stick @1.5 volts and a 4GB stick at 1.35volts from the factory.
Create a bootable CD-ROM, Or a bootable USB
Memtest 86 http://www.memtest86.com/technical.htm

You have to extract it and burn it as an ISO " for the CD
