Inspiron 620 On/Off Switch issue.

My computer is 2 years old. I recently began to have problems with the "On" switch. Frequently it does not engage and I cannot turn the computer on. Often, I leave it in sleep mode but am not comfortable with this all the time. My repair guy did his best but it still happens. Dell tells me to buy a new computer (duh). Anyone have any suggestions? I found this on Ebay. If you are comfortable with doing basic work on your computer, I would suggest replacing the power switch.
