First of all, sorry if this is being posted in the wrong thread, not really sure where a question like this would go. I've been doing tons of research, and I still don't know if Hackintosh would work with my computer. I know it would be best to build a PC instead of buying one, but this is all I have to work with.

Specs:

i5-3450 3.10 GHz
8 GB Ram
1 TB Hard Drive
nVidia GT-430

I am unsure of the soundcard or motherboard. If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated :)

It's the wiki for all components and compatibilities so you know if your gear will work. If all is compliant, then you can worry about the install part. Most people think it's 'illegal' to talk about on here, but it's not!! I have quite a few sites bookmarked I can give ya should you decide to give it a try. I have a Dell 1525 hacked, and it's not the easiest thing to do, so make sure you go into it with a I wanna learn and plan on taking the time needed to finish attitude, or you'll get frustrated and give up.

Your machine is perfectly capable of running hackingtosh but however installing OSX on a non apple product is a clear breach of Apple's EULA so doing so is illegal. because of this i'm we're unable to provide any help as tohow you would go about installing osx.
