hello. i have a client who installed a keyboard for their n7110 and now it doesn't start up, or even light up with an adapter plugged in. now, keep in mind the work was done by a novice,so who knows if they are telling me everything i need to know. i started the diagnosis simply by taking off the keyboard & battery and holding the power button for 10 secs, but that did nothing. my mind is telling me to start disassembling piece by piece, but what should i be looking for as i take it apart? so far it appears all the ribbons are still connected to the motherboard, but there is no power whatsoever getting to the MB.

thanks for any kind of tips!

Solution
I don't think the keyboard is the cause, and yes, i share your gut-feeling.
For safety, test with a known-intact PSU first. Second, test by using other RAM, or reposition RAM. Thereafter, the MoBo is a very likely cause. But start first.
