Oh yeah, definitely wait the month. I'd take a long hard look at the
Lenovo Legion Y730. It is a gaming laptop, but it's not obnoxious red and black and its addressable RGB lighting lets it work in most any setting. Not to mention its fantastic specs for only $1,080. You're getting an i7 8750H, GTX 1050ti, 16GB of RAM, and a PCIe SSD. This thing is nothing short of an absolute bargain. The monitor is only 1080p, but considering the rest of the product, it's a tradeoff most anybody would make in a heartbeat.
