I just put Win2000 pro on my computer. I made a 15G NTFS partition for it. I am using a SOYO 5EMA+ V1.0 with a AMD K6-2 450, Diamond Stealth III S540, Diamond MX300, and a realtek nic. My bios is updated, and according to soyo is Win2000 compatable. The instal went without a hich, but after the restart I tried to log on, it allows me to put my pswd in, but after that the system crashes. It will boot in safe mode. Has anyone heard of this problem, and/or have a possible solution I would be eternally grateful.

When you say "crash" you mean it crash in a blue screen? If yes, what message it says? Maybe you just installed a faulty driver, or a driver not supported by Win2K

Actually I should have said halted. The mouse and computer just freeze. I haven't installed any drivers, the only drivers on the system are the ones win2000 put on itself because I haven't been able to get past the login
