Install 3.5" Drive for PS4

So I am going to try to connect a 3.5" internal hard drive to my PS4. In order to do this, I am planning to do the following procedure.

1. Get a sata data extension cable,

2. Get an AC power cord to power hard drive externally. The PS4 could probably power it, but it is best to use external power for a more power hungry hard drive. I also only want one cable (data) coming out of the PS4.

3. Get molex to sata power adapter to power hard drive,

4. Get 3.5" HDD, (any 7200 RPM will do),

5. Remove the existing hard drive

6. Install the sata data extension cable and feed it to the back of the PS4 as seen,

7. Install data cable into hard drive.

8. Plug hard drive into AC adapter with molex to sata power adapter connected.

9. Enjoy!

Anybody see why this would not work?
