Question Install 3 ram slot ?

I'm currently running avexir core series 2x4gb (1600mhz) ddr3 ram in dual channel and i have a spare gskill ripjaw x 8gb 1600mhz ddr3 and i want to instal it in the third slot to increase to 16gb of ram and is it safe and ok to install the spare one in the mobo ? and my motherboard is H97m-d3h and im using i5 4440. Thank you
