"Install a driver for your network adapter"?

No solution I can find helps.

I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop, but I can't connect to the internet. when I try it says (the title of the question) and "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver."

My laptop uses Intel, and has no network adapter. I would love a solution, please!

After the Windows 7 install did you install the Intel chipset driver and all the device drivers including the Ethernet (LAN) and wireless adapter drivers?

You can get them using another computer by going to the support site of the laptop manufacturer and looking up the model, selecting the correct Windows 7 version (32 or 64 bit) and downloading the latest available onto a USB stick.

Wireless, and it's worked before, just not since I installed Windows 7 on it.

Did you install the drivers?
The only thing left is to look up the laptop model number online and find out what wireless adapter it's using. Then look up the wireless adapter model number online, and you should find drivers to download.

If you can't find the model number of the wireless adapter, then the remaining thing left to do, is to take apart your laptop and find your wireless adapter. There should a sticker with a model number, or something like that.

No, you don't need to open up your laptop to get the wireless adapter model -- you can simply install the free version of Belarc Advisor and run it -- the output is a list of all devices and software in your computer.

Even that should not really be necessary as most manufacturers have specific information on drivers needed, for example if you have a Dell and enter the service code it will list all of your original product details.
