Install a Power Supply

The thick black wire is your front panel input cable. It is properly connected to your MB for your start and reset buttons, a HD usage indicator light and the USB jacks. The red and black wire is the speaker wire for BIOS beep codes. Leave them both attached, they are of no concern with installing your new power supply. You will likely have a 4 or 8 pin connector near your CPU, don't forget to connect it or your computer won't work!
