Hello everybody,

I need to know how to install a secondary ssd drive. The pc is a Windows 7 machine with a current ssd. I have got hold of another, larger ssd mainly for storage, but I still need fast data recovery from the 2nd disc.
Question - how do I install it? I realise that there is an ocean of install an ssd drive videos on YouTube but none of these seem to cover installing a secondary ssd drive.

Can anyone help me here - remember that you may address me as a grown up would a child in pre-school. A soft voice turneth away wrath, and in this case may be of assistance. Pictures are just a lovely bonus.
If anyone can show me how, or show me to a place that can show me I would be ever sp grateful,
Thanks
Tim in Copenhagen

Solution
Connect the SATA data cable, connect the SATA power cable, drop it in your case anywhere (preferably put it in a drive bay if you have any 2.5" bays available, but SSDs can be literally placed anywhere and operate normally), boot up the PC, done.

SATA power cable:

Yours may look slightly different (power cable may be a black ribbon-style cable or sleeved and the data cable may be black instead), however the connectors are all the same.
