Ive got a laptop with windows 8.1 running on a Hard disk, and Ive got a seccond Hardisk that I want to install windows 10 on. Am I able to shut off the computer and swap between the two operating systems ? Will there be any problems? Thanks

Solution
Probably, yes, except the "hotswap" part.
Power off, swap the drives, boot up in the other one.

Be sure you only have the one drive connected when you install this second OS. Being a laptop, that probably isn't a problem.

You will, of course, need another OS license for the Win 10.

But...why the two?

thanks, as for why I want the two, I wanted to create two computers without buying a new one. And I figured that this would be the cheapest way. I also didn't want to deal with the hassle of transferring over a terabyte of data right now and just wanted a plug and play solution even if its temporary.
