This is the error message i get after installing the latest version of ati catalyst control center/GPU drivers. I've done much searching but it feels like I've exhausted all my resources.
here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yDnbxr
Now to go into more detail. Here's me installing ATI :CCC thinking everything will be good to go afterwards. Then the error message and I am prompted to restart my computer fo finish installation. At this point i move my HDMI from the mobo to GPU and upon startup my default resolution is higher. My device manager shows r9 200 series has drivers installed and working properly, but this is not the case. Because soon after trying to verify GPU is working with a game or benchmark test my pc crashes and reboots.
At this point I usually unplug the card from the PSU and uninstall the failed driver install to stop the PC from crashing. I've used Driver fusion(premium) and Display driver uninstaller in and out of safe mode numerous times to prepare for another attempt at GPU driver install. Same error message every time. I've had this rig together and for about a week now and I'd really like to play with it now.
Any feedback or troubleshooting solutions are appreciated. I'm really hoping I dont have to RMA the card, though I doubt thats the case as the HDMI out works on it at least...and yes, it's connected to the PSU twice 1 x (6+2) pin connector and 1 x 6 pin connector.
I'll be lurking here to provide more details as need be.
