Should be installed on your computer, you don't have audio working? Check the support site for your model of computer. You can search for drivers on Dell's site using your PC service tag number, and install the Sound/Audio drivers.

Are you talking about the windows sound mixer, or a program mixer to record/play audio?

Try a freeware application called Audacity, it has alot of features and allows you to do many differant things with sound ! http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Go check it out ,if you think its what you are looking for give it a try !
