Install goes to d not in c

I down loaded SQL server management studio. it is in c: drive download folder. I want it to install at c drive. But when I try to run it, it goes to d drive. I stopped many times from installing. How can I direct installation in c drive. All other programms are also in c drive.

If you have a MBR format HDD it will limit the amount of partitions you can have. MBR only supports 4 partitions.

Do you know what format the HDD is in, or how many partitions you currently have?
