install graphic card but worse than before

i baught yesterday a Gigabyte GeForce GTX970 4GB G1 Gaming ! before i didnt has grafic card ! my desktop works with the motherboards graphic card ! i install drivers and everything in cards dvd and now im going to work at premiere and it is worse than before ! at photoshop and lightroom tha same thing ! do you know why i ve got this problem ? it is no logical !

12.0gb ram
corsair 850w power s
2*120gb ssd (raid 0)

Does it play games alright? Are the drivers up-to-date?
