Question install help

Hi,

Im installing 2 sticks of ram into a Gigabyte B450M DS3H (http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e.pdf)

I want to make sure im putting the RAM in the right slots. Am I suppsoed to put 1 RAM in Channel A and anther in Channel B or both in the same channel?

According to the PDF manual (linked above) channel A is slots 2 and 4, B is slots 1,3.

So do i put the RAM in slots 1 and 2 so its over Channel A and B, or 2 and 4 so its all on Channel A?

I think its 1 and 2 over Channel A and B but im not 100% 😓

wait really? so I put both sticks in channel A? Why is it called dual channel setup then?

read manual and you will see, that is how dual channel works.
