install Intel optane memory in laptop

can I install Intel optane memory (16G) into the m.2 slot of my Asus gl502vt? will it work? is it worth it?

it depends if your laptop supports intel optane memory. all it is is a cache drive. its not worth it anyway

According to the specs on Asus' website, that laptop has an HM170 (100 series) chipset and a 6th Intel CPU. You need a 200 series chipset and 7th gen CPU or higher to use optane cache drives.
