install new graphics card turn on monitor

install new graphics card for my h8 1010 pavilion desktop and turn on monitor press the esc key for startup menu but nothing happens? PLEASE HELP

Make sure that the card is installed properly, the most common mistake when installing a gpu in a prebuilt is forgetting to plug in pcie power.
