Install problems with Windows10

I am an experienced PC user that used to work as professional network specialist for a large corporation for 35 years and have owned PCs for 35 years.

Windows10 getting updates has hung for well over 2 hours looking for updates. I have a cable internet connections.

Search Troubleshooting and under System and Security choose Fix problems with Windows Update.

This issue has happend to me numerous amount of times and its a bug I think

I don't think having windows 10 updates hung for 2 hours have anything to do with what you do and for how long.

Recycle your windows update service. If that doesn't work, stop the windows update service and delete the software distribution folder and restart your windows update service.
