Hello,

how can I install an ssd along hdd in dell all in one pc?

The system is dell optiplex 3030 all in one and has a 500 g hdd. I want to install an ssd and put my OS (linux+win) there and keep the hdd for data. Do I need any extra cables, cases or anything else?

You need to determine if your All In One can actually take another drive.
Good likelihood it cannot.

An AIO is basically a laptop in a different configuration. Not really meant for customizing.

based on some google image searches, there is only 1 2.5" drive bay in that machine.
you could:
1) swap out the hdd for an ssd and get an external USB enclosure for the hdd
2) If you don't need or use the optical drive, you can get an adapter bracket to put a 2.5" drive in. -> https://www.amazon.com/Protronix-Optical-Drive-Universal-12-7mm/dp/B004XIU4T2.
