I've been trying to install Windows 7 on my 2010 MacBook Pro (13"). I've made an install USB, but it gets stuck at a full progress bar, saying, "Windows is loading files..." I have two DVDs as well, but those require that my SSD be formatted using MBR, meaning I'd have to erase my macOS install. I can't install Windows 10 because it breaks down after automatically installing its broken 320M drivers. Windows 8 I just don't want to try because it sucks. I'm out of ideas at this point.

Solution
Unfortunately the requirements are quite problematic.

Is the MacBook to be dual booted?

1) Installing Windows on a MacBook can be done but an 11 year old MacBook may simply be too old.

2) Likewise Windows 7 is obsolete and very unlikely to be able to be installable due to its' age and general loss of support.

3) Windows 10 may not support the 320M drivers to begin with....

That all said, perhaps the following links will provide some help and guidance:

There are other similar links available.

Read though the links and also a few more as seem applicable as you read and learn.

Put together an install plan of your own that seems viable and then give the plan a try.

Do be sure to back up all data beforehand.

I think you should just attempt to install windows 8.1, even if you don't want to, because it's still getting support(Extended support), and it's probably compatible with the macbook's hardware.
