I bought an acer aspire 5 which came with endless OS. I want to install windows 10 pro onto it and have created a usb flash drive using windows media creation tool.
However I can't figure out how to actually install it. I can get into the bios and I set the usb stick to be number one on boot priority but it boots into endless anyways and when I go back to bios the usb is last on the list. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Solution

I had the same problem with an Asus VivoBook , the thing is when Endless os is installed it formats the hdd and it doesn't accept Windows usb or DVD. The solution is quite simple ( after two days for looking for an answer ) , in Endless you have to search Disks and format the hdd so that it accepts all formats. It has nothing to do with the BIOS. After format just restart the laptop or PC and press ESC , the usb option should appear.
Please share , i read on a lot of sites people having problems with this, even the Asus support couldn't help...

Thanks, managed to get it working. Just had to go into bios by pressing F2, and enabling boot selection.
