Hello All,

I have a new build with these specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D
Mobo: ASUS B650E-F
GPU: MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio
RAM: 2 x 16GB Kingston Fury Beast 6000mhz
SSD: 2TB Samsung 990 Pro
HDD: 2TB WD Blue

It came with the OS preinstalled so I want to do a clean Windows 11 install on it.

My questions are:

1)
should I set the bios to default settings before do clean install? And after finished the installer to set everything back in bios.

2) after finish should I let Windows install all the necessary drivers and I will update with the downloaded drivers from the mobo's site?

3) Also my bios has a setting where it says "Other OS", should I set it to Windows UEFI before clean install?

Excuse me for the dumb questions, I just want to make sure everything is set and installed properly :)

Thanks in advance.

It should answer all your questions.
E.g:
Also my bios has a setting where says Other OS, should I set it to Windows Uefi before clean install?
Is covered in #3 before the media creation guide.

Second after finish just should I let Windows install all the necessary drivers and I will update with the downloaded drivers from the mobo's site?
Windows may not automatically update itself after installation and once you're booted into OS (you see the desktop). If so, then i'd install MoBo firmware (chipset drivers) at that point. But those can be done after Win has installed all updates (that you can manually force as well).

Thanks for Everyone.
I use to do the OS install by myself, I just wanted to make sure I did it the proper way.😉
The guide helped me to make sure I did it the right way.

Yesterday I installed the OS. So far everything works fine.

Thanks again!
