Installation of 64 bit windows 7 on pentium 4

i am having pentium 4 & i installed 64 bit windows 7 operating system on it but sound is missing Is it necessary to have driver Cd or can i get it free from internet? i also tried to download it several times but failed. Can i get link to this?

It's going to depend on your specific sound board or motherboard. If they don't have one for Windows 7 you can probably use a vista driver.
