Installation of downloaded game will only install on 2 computers out of 3

I have 3 laptops and want to install the same downloaded game on all 3. This is the old Mario game, I believe ver 1 or 2. I know of no real difference in the 3 computers. 2 have been upgraded from windows 7 to 10. It installs on one but I get a message that the file is corrupt. The other one that it works on is a new one which came with windows 10 installed.

I downloaded onto a computer that was originally windows 7 but I believe after I updated the computer to windows 10

Yes these are PCs I am running the game on. There has been no mention of an emulator. Unfortunately not too familiar with them.
