I am trying to install Windows 7 Pro on a HP Pavilion All-in-One, that came with Win 10 pre-installed. Once I get to the first menu screen, where you select the language, either it freezes or it just will not allow input from keyboard, mouse, and touch screen.

I have tried different iso files and different USB's and DVD's... still same problem.

Haaalp

Are all the usb port on the computer USB 3.0? If so windows 7 does not have drivers built into to allow keyboard and mouse to work during install.

I bought one of the Intel nuc computers and ran into the same exact issue, I tried to make a usb stick with 3.0 drives for windows 7 but could never get it to work, ended up just installing windows 10 on it.

The three ports are not labeled as 3.0, nor are they color blue, but they do hit 3.0 speeds when using 3.0 flash drives.
Sadly giving up and just using windows 10 is not an option. QuickBooks 2011 Accountant and Point of Sale do not play nicely with windows 10.. well in the case of Accountant, not at all.

I guessed at the model number. the computer is at work, I can get the actual model in a couple hours. It only has the 3 USB ports, an Ethernet port, and a HDMI port.
