Installed a new harddrive.

Hello,
I installed a new 1tb harddrive in my hp p6214y. when i turn on computer only get blue screen offering 4 options (esc=boot, F10=setup, F11=sys rec., F9=diagnostics). Takes several attempts to boot, just says "loading boot menu." can't get computer to boot from CD to run Windows 7 recovery disks. Help I'm on my 3rd day of this.

Have you used F10 to get into the bios and change the boot order so it boots from the CD/DVD first, then the hard drive? If not, that's what you need to do.
