Installed EVGA gtx 970, screen blurry

I just upgraded my graphics card to a evga gtx 970, and the screen is now extremely blurry and the resolution only goes up to 1600x1200 in the windows control panel, my monitors resolution is 1920x1080, any help would be appreciated!

Your Nvidia Control Panel should allow a better resolution than 1600 x 1200 and allow you to change the Hz or refresh rate.
Your GPU certainly has that capability. GForce Experience will update your drivers and optimize your Gaming.
