Installed memory 8 gb Usable - 1.66 gb

Around a week ago when i opened my latop it opened an BSOD saying 'memory management ' error . I booted with my bootable PD of windows 10 pro 64 bit but all comes is BSOD .

Then I booted with another PD with Windows 8.1 pro 32 BIT and YES it booted and I installed the OS .

I can't sort out the problem .
Even after then I tried to roll back to WIN 10 but again 'BDOS memory management '

I have used windows memory diagnostics but all was clear with no issues .

Today I have noticed that in 'my pc ' properties its showing
Installed Ram : 8GB (1.66 GB usable)

What is this ?

I ave run hardware diagnosis but all was fine .

A 32bit version of Windows can only use 4gb of memory or less. You must use a 64bit version to go beyond that limit.

It sounds like you may have defective memory or motherboard. What are the specs for this system?
