Hey guys!

I wanted to ask, last night I build a gaming PC, when I installed the GPU, a Youtuber by the name "Carey Holzman" told in a video that the PCIE connectors come with the PSU.

However, when building we could not find any connectors with "PCI-E" labelled on it.

We had 4 x VGA connectors. I have read around, and people say that, THAT is the PCI-E. Is that true?

If so, labelling it "VGA" is misleading, cuz I thought it had something to do with the Monitor.

So summarise:

Last night, I build a Gaming PC, installed MSI 1060 6gb, was told that the PCI-E connectors was included with the PSU. However, I see no connector labelled "PCI-e" only "VGA".

Thanks!

Labelling the cables "VGA" is indeed very misleading on a PSU - - it's just a plain bad & daft name to use for a cable in that context. Not every PC builder has bags of experience to know what it means.

Labelling them "GPU" or "PCIe" would have made much more sense and would have avoided any confusion.

Makes you wonder just how well-made the PSU is, the big-brand PSU maker's would never use labels like "VGA".
