I've just bought a new cooler since my last one had a broken fan. My old cooler was a stock CPU cooler that came with the Ryzen 7 2700x. I now have a Ryzen 7 5700x, and on the old cooler the temps were around 45-50 while idle. With the Artic a35, my temps have been at 70 just idling, and I've reoriented the fan to face the bck fan and reapplied thermal paste. I'm assuming this is not normal since what got me to buy the cooler in the first place was somneone who had the same cpu being able to play and record whilst keeping temps at around 50.

Did you install the cooler as shown in this guide(including the removal of the protective peel on the baseplate)? As for your build, might want to pass on the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
include the BIOS version for your motherboard as well.

Including images help provide context. How many case fans are you working with within your case?

Yes, that's actually one of the videos I used. I peeled the plastic, had the fan facing the front of the pc. Saw the temps and decided to flip it since that might've been the issue. And yes ofc, my apologies.
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x
Motherboard: ASRock B-450 HDV r4
Ram: 32 gigs 3200 (Cant get them to run to the mobos limit so they sit at the lowest sadly.}
ssd/hdd: Intel SSd SC2BF120A5, ST3500413AS. Samsung SSD 970 Evo 1tb
GPU: RTX 3070ti OC
PSU: Corsair RM1000x 80 gold plus
Case: I don't know the same since it was a replacement for a case that they didnt have. Pc is aprebuilt from about 3-4 years ago, only thing that isnt new is the mobo and case.
OS. Windows 10
Bios: P7.40 10/20/2022\
Currently I only have 2 fans on the case, one in the back, one in the top.

Honestly, I wouldn't have aired that processor with that motherboard, not when there's no heatsink atop of that motherboard's VRM area.

Your links don't work for me.
I see, so I should look into a new motherboard and a new case. The case cause mine is a pretty tight fit on everything.
