I bought an Intel Core i5 4690K processor today in replacement of my older one in hopes to run games more smoothly. I installed the CPU fine and the fan sits locked in place and plugged into the CPU FAN section of my motherboard. My computer has an ASUS H81M-Plus motherboard and an LGA1150 socket, as is required for the processor. My PCs input wattage is 750W and I have a 500GB seagate baracuda hard drive. This is my first time installing a CPU, and I had help from my brother who has had plenty of experience in doing this. I have tried updating my BIOS, and performed a CMOS Reset and neither have worked, I have looked through the forums here and tried anything I've come across, none of which has worked. If anyone could help figure this out, I would be eternally grateful.

This is what I used before, I selected my OS (Windows 7 x64) and selected the BIOS, I then selected the newest version and installed it on a flash drive, before going into the BIOS and installing the update.

Yes, the CPU was bought yesterday brand new from amazon.co.uk, but when we installed it into my PC, we had all of these errors, and nothing I've tried has worked at all. I checked the compatability list on my motherboard, and it is compatable with this CPU, so there isn't any conflict there.

I would, but since I spent the last few hundred pounds on the CPU, I can't even afford the £13 ones, and am also not really looking to buy any other parts at the moment. But thanks for all of the help so far.
