[SOLVED] Installed new CPU and PC wont turn on

Had a i5 9600k, updated the bios to the last version. Sold it and then got a i7 9700k.

Came home, installed it, PC turned on and off a few times and nothing, the PC will stay on but it wont show anything on the monitor.

I am using a Asus z390 prime A mobo and its DRAM led is always on. I already tried removing the ram etc but it wont help.

Any ideas what I could do?

Also reinstalled the cpu a few times aswell but nothing.

I cleared the CMOS too by holding my screwdriver on the CTRLC pins for 10 seconds or so and then the pc turned on and off again for another time and now it on the same thing, not showing anything on the monitor etc.

Edit1: having 1 ram stick goes a bit forward, leaving the vba and boot light on now on the mobo

Where did you get the 9700k? I would try and reseat the CPU

Next unplug the power supply from the wall, remove the cmos battery and hold the computer power button down for 10-15 seconds.

If none of that works i would go back to the basics CPU, 1 stick of ram, GPU, and OS
