Installed new cpu. PC doesnt boot

Just upraded to a i5-3550 fres installed into my mobo witc was workin previously wit my oter cpu.

I ear one beep befor sut off fans run and turn off after a second. Te computer was workin fine today wit te oter cpu installed just before te uprade,

Put other cpu on and tell me if it Works / boots . Then install the i5 cpu . If it doesn't turn on with the i5 then its broken
