Any ideas on which monitor is best at 1080p on a limited budget?

My case is:
Basically can't play due to D-SUB OUT OF RANGE 67.5khz/60hz issue.

Happened when I upgraded card to GTX 1060 while my monitor is VGA only (so I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter). I went on to look for some fixes, tried many of them, didn't succeed.

Checked display at 60hz. Runs native on 1600x900. My monitor is a 19.5" LG 20M35.

Thing now is, I can't find a monitor (on an entry level to mid level range) that is over 60hz. They're DVI/HDMI though, so I was wondering, would it fix the problem or am I in a deeper budget sinkhole?

OR do you guys know a fix for my problem? Because really, if I can avoid spending right now, I'd really be happy.

Thanks guys.

Solution
Any DVI or HDMI(even if its not 2.0) monitor will solve this problem. It's the VGA port that is an analogue signal. As you have a 1060 you'll need a new screen.
VGA is analog so can't connect to hdmi. You can't use a 1060 with a VGA screen, only DVI, display port or HDMI. For DVI use wikipedia to search for 'dvi' so you can connect a correct DVI cable to the 1060. HDMI 2.0 works at 60hz so to use this get a screen with HDMI 2.0 & a HDMI 2.0 cable.

I did use an adapter (HDMI to VGA) and I have a display and can use my pc for everyday use, my only problem is I can't use it for gaming. Therein appears the DSUB Out of Range problem.

Will any DVI or HDMI(even if its not 2.0) monitor solve this problem? If a monitor has a VGA and a DVI and/or HDMI port is it analog? Because I'm about to sell my old monitor and I'm on the verge of buying a new one (but on the cheap side).
