Question Installed new graphics card and computer powers on and off repeatedly

so i recently got a new rtx 2070 super and replaced my old gtx 1660 super with it. after everything is connected i turn on the power and the PC powers everything on for a few seconds and then shuts off. This cycle happens over and over, but then i reinstalled the 1660 super without touching anything else and the computer powers up fine and runs perfectly. My pc runs i7-9700k cpu, ms-7b17 MSI motherboard, 2 16gb sticks ram, and a tx750 watt corsair.

the 2070 consumes more energy than the 1660 super.
how old is the PSU? do you have another for testing?
